Samsung established in 1938 as a trading company by Lee Byung-chul. Entered into the electronic industry in the 1960s, this brand is the world’s largest manufacturers of electronic components. This brand manufactures lithium-ion batteries, flash memory and hard drive. It was in 1993, samsung tablets developed the lightest mobile of its times – it was called the SCH-800 available on CDMA networks. This brand later came out with tablets that again got it all the attention. The 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab was the first model in the series and was introduced on 2 September 2010 at the IFA in Berlin. This model was a good kick start, after which many successful tablets were launched. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is another good tablet that is doing a great job.
The samsung tab 3 is built along the lines of Samsung’s high-end smartphones and it looks like a bigger version of the Samsung Galaxy SIII or Galaxy Grand smartphones. The 7-inch display gives it a different look. This Tab sports three buttons below the display, a hardware middle-button for home, and two capacitive buttons on either side for back and options menu. Runs on an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the Galaxy Tab 3 runs smoothly. This device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor and uses TouchWiz User Interface. It has a RAM capacity of 1 GB which makes the device capable of doing multitasking functions. On a single charge, the tablet has enough juice to survive for over a day. In our continuous video playback test, its 4450 mAh battery lasted for around 9 hours.
The Galaxy Tab 3 g comes with 8 GB of Internal memory which can also be extended to another 32 GB via a MicroSD card, so you can store all your music and other data. With the 1.3 MP secondary camera, you can enjoy your video calls. The Tab is good enough to watch videos as well and it has a resolution of 1024 x 600 p with support for 16 M colors. The 3 MP primary camera lets you capture your special moments with great clarity. The app drawer is on the bottom right side of the home screen, and opens the menu divided in three sections apps, widgets and downloaded apps. The notification tray and quick access settings for Wi-Fi, GPS, sound, screen rotation, Bluetooth, mobile data, blocking mode, sync and power saving mode are located at the top area in the notification tray of the Galaxy Tab 3.
In terms of connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is capable of WiFi connectivity as well as USB 2.0 connectivity. The battery used in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is a massive 4000 mAh Li-Ion cell. Considering there is a fairly respectable dual-core processor running under the hood of the tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 functions well and you do not see crashes so often.
